IN THE SPRING OF 43
WE STOPPED FOR REST
AT A SMALL VILLAGE AT THE
FOOT OF MOUNT. ETNA WE
WERE WAITING FOR SUPPLYS
TO COME UP. 4 OR 5 OF US
WALKED UP ETNA IT HAD
BEEN QUIET FOR YEARS THERE
WERE PEOPLE WHO HAD
A FEW COWS BUT MOSTLY GOATS
THERE WAS NOT TO MUCH.GRASS
WE WENT UP 1/4 OF THE WAY
IT WAS QUIET & PEACEFUL
IT IS A NICE SCENIC
COUNTRY.
IM REMINDED OF IT NOW
AFTER SEEING THE PICTURE
IN THE STAR.
